In 1990, she was admitted to the Malaysian Institute of Art, majoring in piano, studied under Luke Moissinac, minor composer, teacher Liu Manhong, and also studied vocal music. She studied under Professor Ma Zhi Wei. She graduated with honors in 1993 and obtained the Best student award.
In 1995, she held a solo recital at the British Council. In the same year, she was admitted to the Composition Department of the China Conservatory of Music. She continued her undergraduate study for 3 years and studied composition with the famous composers Professor Shi Wanchun and Professor Gao Weijie. During the period, she studied vocal music from Luo Lianglian.
In 1998, she was admitted to the Chinese Conservatory of Music with a master's degree in composition.
In 2000, she held a concert for the master's graduates in the school, and the opera "Su Xiaoxiao" won unprecedented success.
In 2001, she lived in Korea and taught at Chung Ang University and Mokwon University. She has published personal works, CDs and concerts in the local area and won several composing competitions. In addition, she is also an accompaniment, conductor and vocal guide at the local choir. The main works include: the art song "The Salley Garden", the piano solo "Sonata in G", the opera "Su Xiaoxiao" and "Chinese Widow Hill", the Korean large instrumental music "Enthusiasm", the Chinese folk music large instrumental music "My dream In Malaysia” and so on.
