Jess Lee a Malaysian Chinese female singer. She started learning vocal music when she was 8 years old. When she was 13 years old, she told her vocal teacher (Madam Cheong Chow Heong) that she wanted to learn pop songs. The vocal teacher told her that the interpretation methods of folk songs and pop songs were quite different, and she had to choose one to concentrate on practicing singing. As a result, Jess Lee chose to learn both at the same time, starting with English pop songs and then Chinese pop songs.
In 2010, she participated in the seventh One Million Star hosted by Taiwan Central Television.
