About Cheong Lin Poo

After graduating from Pay Fong High School in Malacca, she was admitted to the Dance Department of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in Chinese Classical Dance and Ethinic Dance, and minoring in modern dance and ballet. After graduation, she worked in the Education Promotion Department of the Hong Kong Dance Academy. She was a dance director in a number of primary and high schools in Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories. After came back to Malaysia, she teaches dance classes at Johor Bahru Foon Yew High School, Malacca Pay Fong High School Dance Group, Malacca Multimedia University Chinese Literature Society Dance Club and Seremban Pei Hua  Primary School Dance Class.

She has achieved excellent results in previous National Chinese Dance Festival, National Intercollegiate Dance Competition and National Chinese Dance Competition. The winning entries are:

Stage Art Award:

In 2005, she participated in the Miri National Chinese Dance Competition in Sarawak, and the work "Banna Style" won the championship and the best costume award.
